The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Town of Williamson man following a traffic stop in the Town of Palmyra.

Deputies arrested 57-year-old Paul Winslow for Driving While Intoxicated, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 of one percent or higher, failure to stop at a stop sign, possession of an open container, operating an all-terrain vehicle on a public highway, and operating an unregistered all-terrain vehicle.

It is alleged that Mr. Winslow was stopped for several violations, and upon further investigation, deputies determined he was operating the vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Winslow was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he voluntarily submitted to a chemical test that determined his blood alcohol content to be .15%.

Mr. Winslow was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Palmyra Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
