Rushville Man Arrested For Harassment Following Altercation

On Thursday, Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Rushville man following a dispute at a village residence.

Michael Pierre, 66, of Rushville, was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree. It is alleged that during an altercation on  July 7, Pierre subjected another individual to unwanted physical contact.

Pierre was issued a criminal summons and is scheduled to appear in Potter Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
