The Yates County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Dundee woman on multiple felony charges following a traffic stop on Dundee Himrod Road.

On Saturday, deputies stopped a side-by-side utility vehicle after observing it operating on the roadway and failing to keep right by entering the opposite lane of travel. Upon speaking with the driver, 38-year-old Andrea Bailey, deputies observed signs of impairment. Following a series of standardized field sobriety tests, Bailey was taken into custody.

Bailey was transported to Soldiers and Sailors Hospital, where she submitted to a chemical test. She was charged with felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, felony Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree, being an unlicensed operator, failure to keep right, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Bailey was transported to the Yates County Jail to await the next session of the Yates County Centralized Arraignment Part Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
