On Monday, Ontario County Sheriff Deputies arrested a Rushville man following a traffic stop on County Road 50 in the Town of Hopewell.

Adam Farley, 37, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Deputies initially pulled the vehicle over for vehicle and traffic violations. A subsequent roadside investigation revealed that Farley was allegedly in possession of cocaine.

Farley was released on an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
