On Saturday, a Rochester man was arrested following an investigation into an erratically driven vehicle in the Town of Canandaigua.
Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 31-year-old Samuel Bahiga at approximately 2:51 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 30 and New Michigan Road. Deputies had investigated reports of a vehicle driving erratically eastbound on County Road 30 before pulling over to park roadside.
Investigators determined that Bahiga was operating the vehicle with a revoked New York State driver’s license that had fifty total suspensions and revocations.
Bahiga was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the first degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second degree.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment detention to await court proceedings.
