Palmyra Man Arrested Following Domestic Incident

The Village of Palmyra Police Department arrested Dekaus Thomas, age 39, Palmyra, following an investigation into a domestic incident.

The investigation revealed that Thomas allegedly restrained his girlfriend during an argument by physically restricting her movement within the residence on June 4. During the same incident, Thomas also allegedly picked up and smashed the victim’s television.

Thomas was charged with Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

He was released on an appearance ticket.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
