Newark Man Arrested Following Canandaigua Disturbance

On Saturday, a Newark man was arrested following a disturbance report in the Town of Canandaigua.

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 3010 Creekview Drive at approximately 11:30 p.m. Friday after receiving a report that a male was attempting to kick in the front door of an apartment following an earlier dispute where he had been made to leave the premises.

Upon arrival, deputies searched the area and located 19-year-old Kearion Rogers nearby. Witnesses allegedly observed Rogers kicking the apartment door in an effort to gain access.

Rogers was arrested at 12:10 a.m. Saturday and charged with criminal mischief in the third degree.

He was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await Centralized Arraignment Part court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
