Lyons Woman Arrested on Forcible Touching Charge

A Town of Lyons woman has been arrested following a harassment investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested 33-year-old Brittainy Grippin after investigating an incident that allegedly occurred on Tuesday in Lyons.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Grippin is accused of approaching the victim from behind, striking the victim on the buttocks, and then reaching around and making contact with the victim’s testicles over his clothing with both hands.

Grippin was charged with forcible touching.

Following her arraignment, Grippin was released on an appearance ticket

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
