The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Lyons man stemming from an incident that occurred on Spencer Street in the Town of Lyons on June 10.
Dakota Norris was taken into custody after an investigation into the June incident determined that the 31-year-old, while allegedly aided by two other individuals, struck a victim multiple times, causing injury. He is also accused of choking the victim, ripping the victim’s shirt, and forcibly stealing a phone while the victim was attempting to call 911.
Norris was charged with one count of Robbery in the Second Degree, two counts of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, one count of Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, one count of Assault in the Third Degree, and one count of Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree.
He was held at the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
