On July 13th, Yates County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Seneca Street in the Village of Dundee following a report of a dispute involving a weapon.
Deputies allege that a juvenile offender displayed a knife in a threatening manner toward another youth during an altercation. Following an investigation, the youth was taken into custody and charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The juvenile was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in Yates County Family Court at a later date.
