The water conservation order for Village of Aurora residents served by the public water system has been lifted.
The Cayuga County Health Department issued the order July 15 following a water main break on the Wells College campus. Officials on Monday said the water main has been repaired and water levels in the village’s storage tanks have been restored. Residents no longer need to limit their water use.
