One person was injured shortly after midnight Sunday in a crash involving an electric scooter and a motor vehicle at the intersection of State Route 104 and Lake Avenue in the town of Williamson.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the electric scooter was traveling south and crossing Route 104 when it was clipped by an eastbound vehicle.
The scooter operator complained of back pain and was transported by Wayne County EMS to Strong Memorial Hospital for further evaluation. Authorities said the injuries were not considered life-threatening.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the New York State Police and Wayne County EMS.
