A Prattsburgh woman was taken to the hospital after a motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon in the town of Naples.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, along with the Naples Fire Department and Naples EMS, responded around 2:14 p.m. to the area of 6313 County Road 21 for a reported single-motorcycle accident.
According to investigators, 41-year-old Stacy Fleischman of Prattsburgh was operating a 2004 Kawasaki 999 westbound on County Road 21 when the motorcycle’s front tire contacted pavement sealer while traveling through a curve.
Deputies say Fleischman lost control of the motorcycle and left the roadway, entering a ditch on the north side of County Road 21.
Fleischman did not appear to suffer serious injuries at the scene but was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation as a precaution, according to the sheriff’s office.
The crash remains under investigation.
