An upcoming public hearing in Genoa will let residents weigh in on proposed increases to water rates in the Genoa-King Ferry Water District.
The Genoa Town Board announced that the hearing will take place on Wednesday, June 10, at 6:30p at the Genoa Town Hall. The town added that those unable to attend the public hearing can send written comments to the Town Clerk’s Office at 1000 Barntick Rd, Genoa, NY 13071.
Below are the new proposed rates:
$56 – minimum usage – under 10K (stays the same)
10K-30K/$5.00 per 1,000 gallons (stays the same)
Over 30K/$7.50 per 1,000 gallons (increases)
