A Cayuga County bridge is closed until critical repairs can be made.
According to a Facebook post by Throop Town Supervisor Eric Ridley, the New York State Department of Transportation has mandated that the Kernan Rd Bridge be closed until necessary repairs can be made.
Ridley added that the town is working on the engineering and funding for the repairs. Updates will be made as the process advances.
