Penn Yan firefighters were called to a fully-involved car fire late Thursday morning.
The call came into 911 just before 11 a.m. on East Lake Road. Responding units reported the car, a Mercedes van, was fully engulfed as they began to arrive on scene.
Firefighters cleared the scene at 11:50 a.m. The investigation into the cause is ongoing.
