One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash Saturday night in the Town of Seneca Falls.

According to the Seneca Falls Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of State Route 89 and Willows Hill Road at approximately 9:19 p.m. after receiving reports of a crash involving injuries.

Police said their investigation determined that the driver of one of the vehicles failed to yield the right-of-way at the stop sign on Willows Hill Road and pulled into the path of northbound traffic on State Route 89, causing the collision.

A passenger in the struck vehicle complained of lower-body pain and was transported by ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for evaluation and treatment. No information was released on the severity of the injuries.   The names of the drivers involved were not released.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.

Seneca Falls Police were assisted by the New York State Park Police, the Seneca Falls Fire Department, and North Seneca Ambulance. No charges were announced.
