The United Way of Cayuga County is encouraging community members to help save lives by donating blood during its upcoming Day of Caring Blood Drive.
The blood drive will be held at Cayuga Community College in Auburn on August 6, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Organizers say a single blood donation can help save multiple lives, making each donor’s contribution an important resource for patients in need of transfusions.
Residents interested in participating are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance through the American Red Cross website.
The Day of Caring Blood Drive is part of the United Way of Cayuga County’s ongoing efforts to support the health and well-being of the local community.
