The Auburn Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old who was last seen earlier this week.
Police said La’Meir Holmes was reported missing from Cayuga Centers, located at 202 Franklin St. in the City of Auburn. According to investigators, Holmes is believed to have run away and may have traveled to Syracuse, where he is from, although his exact whereabouts are unknown.
Holmes is described as a Black male, 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 87 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, tan shorts, and black sneakers.
