Geneva General Hospital’s Dialysis Unit will host a free Pre-Dialysis Education Class on Thursday, July 23, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Geneva General Hospital Dialysis Unit, 196 North Street, Geneva.
The class is for patients with kidney disease and a support person. It aims to acquaint patients with kidney disease, treatment options, diet, and adjusting to life with the condition.
Professionals working in nephrology and dialysis will lead the class, which seeks to help patients and their families become familiar and comfortable with kidney disease and potential options for renal replacement therapy. Patients are encouraged to bring a support person.
