Dawn Marie Wilder-Smith, 43, of E. Loop Road, Port Byron, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, after being involved in a motor vehicle accident. Dawn was born on Sept. 23, 1969, in Auburn. She was a graduate of Port Byron High School and Cayuga Community College. She was employed by Archer Daniels Midland Co., of Montezuma for over 10 years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved and adored her children. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Randy Smith; mother and father, Richard Sr. and Donna Strapach Wilder; children, Ethan and Grace; step children, Amber and Caitlin; step granddaughter, Amelia; siblings, Richard (Jennifer) Wilder Jr., of Conquest, James (Tammy) Wilder, of Baldwinsville; nieces and nephews, Samantha, Dylan, Alex, Paige, and Noah and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandmothers, Mary Comerinsky and Dorothy Baker and her grandfather, Gordon Wilder. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, from the Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, from St. John Church, Port Byron. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.
