Martin "Marty" Barnhart

Martin "Marty" Barnhart, 84, resided in Wayland, NY, and passed away June 4, 2026, at home with his loving wife, Carol, by his side. He was the son of the late Evelyn Dann and Martin Barnhart.

Marty worked at Main Plumbing & Heating and Wilcox Boat. He also worked at Skybrook Campground, where he liked to spend time with family and friends. He and Carol loved spending time at the New York State Fair seeing all there was to see.

Marty is survived by his wife Carol of 63 years, their 3 sons, Tim (Rieva), Scott (Joanne), and Mark (Angela); his siblings, Shirley Young, Regina Foster, Connie Cabak (Martin), Richard Barnhart (Katie), and Gerald Loveland; his grandchildren Martin Barnhart (Lindsey), Stephen Barnhart (Amber), Alicia Rauber (David), Casara Barnhart (Matt), Michael Barnhart (Alison), Ashley Barnhart (Josh), Matt Barnhart, and Colin Barnhart; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Marty was preceded by siblings Dana, Dale, Larry (Skip), Judy Marble, and Patricia Walters.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a date to be announced.
