MaryAnn Stedman
MaryAnn Stedman, 84, of Canandaigua, New York, passed away on June 4, 2026, in North Greece, New York. MaryAnn was born on September 27, 1941, in Gates, New York, to parents Alphonse B. Wille and Margaret DeYeager Wille.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Stedman, and her brothers, Peter and Raymond Wille.
Survived by her children David (Jean) Eisenhauer and Dianne (Gino) Romantini. Grandchildren Ashley (Chris) Michaels, Eric Eisenhauer, Mike Eisenhauer (Toni), Stefanie DeLong (Dan), and Margie DeLong (Joel). Great-grandchildren Luca Eisenhauer and more on the way.
MaryAnn was a woman of boundless curiosity and an endless hobbyist. Her life was spent cruising down different paths. She started her true passions when she secured a variety of licenses that let her experience life to the fullest, including her motorcycle, pilot, and glider licenses.
In her spare time, she was devoted to baking sweet treats for her grandchildren. Whether it was cookies, fudge, or gorgeous Yule log cakes at Christmas time, she never arrived empty-handed. That goes for the four-legged family members too; she believed everyone needed a treat when grandma was over.
She loved the rolling hills of the countryside, the warmth of her wood-burning stove, and making homemade jelly with the fruit from her fruit trees. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her independence, and the love she poured into her family. MaryAnn came into this world with an infectious strong-willed character that left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
Her memory will live on in the stories shared around family tables, in treasured recipes passed down through generations, and in the hearts of all who loved her.
