Yates County Deputies stopped 64-year old Robert Walpole III of Romulus for a traffic infraction on SR 14A in the Town of Benton. An odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected and he was placed through a series of field sobriety tests. He was arrested for DWI and transported to the Yates County Sheriff's Office for a chemical breath test. He was released on appearance tickets to appear at the Town of Benton Court for further proceedings.
