Palmyra Man Arrested After Domestic Dispute

On Saturday, Matthew O’Brien, 40, of Palmyra, was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following an investigation into a domestic incident.

Deputies report that during a domestic dispute, O’Brien allegedly forcefully grabbed the victim’s right wrist before taking their phone from their hand. As a result of the investigation, O’Brien was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree.

O’Brien was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
