The drizzle and light showers lingering across the Finger Lakes this evening will gradually wind down as low pressure centered over western Pennsylvania continues tracking southeast toward the Mid-Atlantic coast. Expect the region to clear from northwest to southeast through the later evening hours — Bath and Corning likely see an end to precipitation first, with Ithaca and Cayuga Lake country wrapping up sometime after 9 or 10 PM.
Overnight lows will settle into the low-to-mid 40s across most of the region, with Corning, Bath, and Canandaigua dipping to near 43°. No frost concerns tonight given cloud cover and residual moisture, but it will feel raw. No active NWS alerts are in effect.
Sunday looks noticeably better — forecasters have nudged temperatures up a few degrees from earlier projections. Expect partly cloudy skies and a drier, more comfortable afternoon. Enjoy it — unsettled weather returns mid-to-late week with multiple rounds of showers possible.
