A beautiful start to June continues tonight across the Finger Lakes. Skies will remain clear as northerly winds relax after sunset, allowing temperatures to drop into the mid-to-upper 40s by early Tuesday morning — watch for lows near 44° in Bath and around 48° in Geneva and Ithaca. No frost concerns tonight, but if you have tender garden transplants out, a light covering wouldn’t hurt at those colder valley spots.
Tuesday looks nearly identical to today: sunny, comfortable, with highs climbing back into the upper 60s. A surface high building overhead keeps winds light and humidity low.
No alerts are in effect for the region.
Looking ahead, the pleasant stretch holds through Friday before a breakdown late in the week brings shower and thunderstorm chances by the weekend — possibly heavy at times.
