Former Keuka College men’s basketball standout Lamar Lovelace will continue his playing career overseas after signing a professional contract with Flexachem KCYMS Killorglin Basketball Club of Ireland’s Super League.
“Lamar’s work ethic, commitment, and leadership have made a lasting impact on our program, and this next opportunity is a testament to his hard work,” Keuka head coach Tom Wilk said. “We can’t wait to watch him succeed at the professional level and represent Keuka Basketball.”
Lovelace enjoyed a record-setting 2025-26 season in his lone year with the Wolves. He scored 636 points, establishing new Keuka College and Empire 8 single-season scoring records. He also set school records for field goals and free throws made in a season and finished fourth in program history for three-pointers made.
His performance earned him Empire 8 Tournament Most Valuable Player honors, First Team All-Empire 8 recognition, and a spot on the conference’s All-Tournament Team.
Lovelace also received First Team All-Region honors from D3hoops.com and the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, along with Second Team All-Region recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
He will now join Flexachem KCYMS Killorglin Basketball Club, which competes in Ireland’s Super League, the country’s top men’s basketball league. The FIBA-recognized league features 13 teams, including 12 in the Republic of Ireland and one in Northern Ireland.
Killorglin joined the Super League for the 2021-22 season. The club finished 7-15 last season, placing 11th in the standings, but advanced to the quarterfinals of the league’s Cup Playoffs.
