Keuka College has announced the six inductees who will make up the 2026 class of the Dr. Arthur F. Kirk, Jr. Athletics Hall of Fame.

The class includes former basketball standouts Kyle Bower ’92, Greg Roscoe ’93 and Harvey Chapel ’93, along with the 1990-91 men’s basketball team, the 1989-90 women’s basketball team and Dr. Crystal Gips ’65, who will be recognized for distinguished service to the college and its athletics programs.

The induction ceremony will be held Sept. 26 during the Green & Gold Annual Celebration Dinner as part of Keuka College’s Green & Gold Reunion & Family Weekend.

Bower is remembered as one of the top scorers and rebounders in program history. He finished his career with 1,078 points and still ranks second in school history with 282 rebounds during the 1990-91 season. His school-record 40-point game against Elmira College stood for more than 35 years before being broken earlier this year. After graduating with a degree in early childhood education, Bower earned a master’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and recently retired as superintendent of the Hammondsport Central School District.

Roscoe scored 1,176 career points, ranking sixth in program history, and set the single-season scoring record with 436 points during the 1990-91 campaign. He also ranks second all-time with 166 career steals. A management graduate, Roscoe now works as a security and technology consultant for Guardian Protection in Maryland.

Dr. Crystal Gips is being honored for more than 60 years of service to Keuka College. As a student, she helped establish women’s basketball as a club sport and also competed in field hockey and volleyball. She later served on the College’s Board of Trustees from 2011 to 2026, including as board chair, helping guide strategic initiatives and supporting improvements to the JMW Recreation and Athletics Center through her leadership and philanthropy.

Chapel, a native of West Yorkshire, England, was a four-year letter winner for the men’s basketball team before going on to captain England’s Under-22 National Team. After earning his management degree from Keuka, he completed an MBA at Clarkson University and has built a successful career in finance. He currently serves as a managing director at Pictet, an international wealth and asset management firm, and recently represented Great Britain at the World Masters Basketball Championships in Switzerland.

The 1990-91 men’s basketball team remains one of the most successful squads in school history. The Green and Gold posted a program-record 19 victories, won 15 consecutive games, and became one of only two teams in school history to score more than 2,000 points and collect more than 1,000 rebounds in a season.

The 1989-90 women’s basketball team finished with a 25-3 record, setting the program record for victories in a season. Led by the late Hall of Famer Vanessa Morgan, the team captured the ECAC Division III Upstate Championship with victories over Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland and scored more than 2,200 points during the season.

Registration for Green & Gold Reunion & Family Weekend is now open through Keuka College.
