Rex Payne, 35, of Williamson, was charged with a violation of the family court act by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies arrested Payne on a warrant. He was taken into custody on Tuesday without incident.
Payne was transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing and will appear in CAP Court to answer the charge.
The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
