On June 15, a Watkins Glen man was arrested following a trespass and shoplifting complaint in the Village of Burdett.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Joshua Skorusa after he was allegedly involved in an incident that drew law enforcement to Lake Avenue in Burdett.

Following his arrest, Skorusa was charged with Petit Larceny and Trespass.

He was processed and issued an appearance ticket directing him to answer the charges in the Town of Hector Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
