Seneca Falls Man Arrested Following Domestic Incident

On Sunday, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Ryan Smith, 40, of Seneca Falls, following a reported domestic incident.

At approximately 11 p.m., officers took Smith into custody after investigating an altercation where he allegedly menaced a victim with a knife in proximity to two children. Smith was charged with Menacing in the Second Degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Following processing at the Seneca Falls Police Department, Smith was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

An order of protection was requested on behalf of the victims.

 

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
