On Thursday, Zaid Alhiyari, 25, of Rochester, was arrested on a bench warrant.

The warrant was issued after Alhiyari failed to appear in Canandaigua City Court regarding the original charge of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation.

Alhiyari was subsequently transported to the Ontario County Jail to await centralized arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
