On Thursday afternoon, a Canandaigua woman was taken into custody on a bench warrant at the Ontario County Jail in the Town of Hopewell.

Authorities arrested Ashley Treanor, 30, regarding an active bench warrant issued out of the Canandaigua Town Court. The warrant was issued for failing to appear in court regarding the original charges of previous traffic violations and an unlicensed operator charge.

Following her arrest, Treanor was arraigned at the centralized arraignment court and is scheduled to appear in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date to answer the violations and charges.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
