Wayne County Public Health is asking residents to help shape future community health and housing initiatives by participating in a new survey focused on housing affordability and stability.
According to the department, affordable and stable housing has been identified as one of the top concerns among Wayne County residents. Officials are seeking feedback from community members to better understand local housing challenges and how residents define affordable housing.
The survey is part of Wayne County Public Health’s ongoing Community Health Improvement Plan. Responses will be used to help create a local definition of affordable and stable housing, inform community leaders and decision-makers, and guide future planning efforts.
Public health officials emphasized that there are no right or wrong answers and said they want to hear directly from residents about their experiences and perspectives. All survey responses will remain anonymous.
