Firefighters were called to a structure fire along State Route 96 South in the Waterloo area Friday afternoon.
The Waterloo Fire Department said crews and mutual-aid departments were dispatched at approximately 2:00 p.m. After receiving additional information from Seneca County dispatchers, Waterloo Fire Chief Clark requested a tanker task force to bring more water to the scene.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze, and the Seneca County Fire Investigation Team was called to investigate its cause.
North Seneca Ambulance provided emergency medical standby coverage at the scene.
No additional information about the extent of the damage or possible injuries was immediately released.
