One Injured In Early Monday Arcadia Crash

A Monday morning crash in the Town of Arcadia sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries after authorities say one of two drivers failed to come to a complete stop at a stop sign.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash happened around 6:27 a.m. at the intersection of Marbletown Road and Miller Road. Deputies responded after several 911 calls reported a two-vehicle collision.

Investigators determined a sedan driven by Tyler Johnson of Phelps and a pickup truck driven by Hunter Reynolds of Lyons collided at the intersection.

One person was transported by ambulance to Newark Wayne Hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Assisting agencies included the Marbletown Fire Department, Newark Fire Department, Newark EMS, Wayne County Medic, Wayne County EMS, and Union Street Automotive.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
