An adventurous kitten was rescued twice after becoming trapped in vehicle engine compartments, according to the Seneca Falls Police Department.
Police said officers responded to assist with the rescue after the kitten became stuck in the engine compartment of a vehicle. With help from Chris Knapp of Stever’s Garage, the animal was safely freed.
However, the kitten’s adventure wasn’t over.
According to police, after being rescued, the kitten ran from responders and climbed into the engine compartment of a second vehicle. After additional teamwork and patience, the kitten was safely removed a second time.
The Seneca Falls Police Department thanked Knapp for assisting with the rescue and helping ensure the kitten was unharmed.
Officials said the kitten is doing well following the ordeal.
