Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on County Road 13 in the Town of Manchester.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded at approximately 3 p.m. to the area of 3717 County Road 13 for a reported personal injury crash.

Investigators determined that 76-year-old Terry Schoonerman, of Clifton Springs, was traveling eastbound in a Kia Soul when a Chevrolet Malibu operated by 36-year-old John Huling, of Shortsville, attempted to make a left turn onto County Road 13.

Deputies said Huling failed to yield the right of way and was struck by Schoonerman’s vehicle.

Huling was transported by Shortsville Ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital with chest and shoulder pain. Schoonerman and a passenger in his vehicle were also taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Huling was issued a citation for failure to yield while entering a roadway.
