The Thompson Health Guild raised approximately $17,000 during its annual Fashion Show, with proceeds supporting scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare and continuing education for Thompson Health employees.
The fundraiser was held at Finger Lakes Community College, with Eastview Mall serving as the presenting sponsor. The event featured fashions from several area businesses.
Money raised will help fund the Guild’s annual scholarships for local high school seniors entering healthcare-related fields of study. Proceeds will also support the Guild Education Fund, which provides financial assistance to Thompson Health associates pursuing additional education, certifications, and professional development.
The Fashion Show is one of the Guild’s signature fundraising events. Founded in 1905, the auxiliary organization has supported F.F. Thompson Hospital for more than a century. Today, Thompson Health includes the hospital, a nursing home, primary care offices, urgent care centers, outpatient rehabilitation sites, a breast imaging center, and other healthcare services throughout the region.
Those interested in joining the Thompson Health Guild can apply online through the Thompson Health website or email [email protected] for more information.
