A longtime local business in Seneca Falls is preparing to close its doors after more than three decades in operation.

Seneca Falls Downtown Deli announced it will officially close on May 15, ending a 33-year run that began in 1994.

In a message shared with the community, owners Ann Marie and Nicholas Sandroni said the decision to close was not an easy one, but that they feel it is time to move on to the next chapter.

The family expressed gratitude to customers who have supported the deli over the years, noting the relationships and memories built with generations of local families.

The deli will remain open through May 15, and the owners are encouraging customers to stop in before then to say goodbye in person.

The Sandroni family thanked the community for its loyalty and support, calling it an honor to have been part of the village for more than 30 years.
