Families planning to participate in the City of Auburn’s 2026 Summer Recreation for Children Program are reminded that the pre-registration deadline is Monday.

City officials announced that all children participating in this year’s program must be registered in advance, a new requirement for 2026.

Registration packets can be downloaded from the city’s website or picked up in person at Auburn City Hall, located at 24 South Street. Completed forms may be returned to the Recreation Office on the basement level or to the City Clerk’s Office on the first floor.

The six-week summer recreation program begins Tuesday, June 30, and will offer free weekly activities at three city parks:

  • Tuesdays: Lincoln Playground, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Wednesdays: Clifford Park, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursdays: Casey Park, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

City officials encourage parents and guardians to complete registration before the June 29 deadline to ensure their children can participate in the summer program.
