As fans head to Watkins Glen International this weekend to cheer on their favorite NASCAR driver, we know now when the racing circuit will return next year…..and it will be almost like old times.
Track President Dawn Burlew announced Thursday that the 2027 NASCAR race weekend will move back to September as part of NASCAR’s playoff series.
An official with NASCAR said Watkins Glen was selected to return to its traditional September spot after drivers expressed interest in having a road course included in next year’s playoff schedule.
