Geneva City School District has appointed Kylie Smith as assistant principal at Geneva High School.
Smith is no stranger to the district, having previously served in several leadership roles, including district administrative intern and interim assistant principal supporting both West Street School and Geneva Middle School. After serving as an assistant principal in the Gates Chili Central School District, she returned to Geneva as interim assistant principal at Geneva High School.
District officials said Smith brings experience in instructional leadership, student support and school operations.
“We’re pleased to have Kylie continue in this role,” Superintendent Bo Wright said. “She has done an outstanding job supporting our students and staff, and we look forward to the continued leadership and stability she brings to Geneva High School.”
The district said it will continue its search to fill a second assistant principal position at Geneva High School.
