As volunteer fire departments across the state face declining membership, a Cayuga County organization will hold an informational session next week for potential new members.
The King Ferry Fire Department will hold the informational session on Tuesday, April 14, at the King Ferry Fire Station, 1011 NY-34B. The session will begin at 7:00p.
At the meeting, interested members of the public can learn more about what being a volunteer firefighter entails.
