While not everyone has the upcoming school year on their mind, the Equal Rights Heritage Center is looking ahead to the 2026-27 school year.
The ERHC has begun collecting school supplies for distribution to area children. To help, the center is seeking donations of the following:
- notebooks and paper
- pens, pencils, and glue
- backpacks
- crayons and markers
- binders, folders, erasers, and rulers
Items will be packed and distributed at the August 1 Back to School Kick-off Market at the ERHC. Any remaining supplies will be backed by United Way of Cayuga County and the ERHC during the Day of Caring on August 6.
