An Elmira man has admitted to sexually abusing two children in Schuyler County.
Schuyler County District Attorney Jeremy Hourihan announced that 30-year-old Kenneth Morales pleaded guilty Thursday in Schuyler County Court to two counts of predatory sexual assault against a child, a Class A-II felony.
According to prosecutors, Morales admitted engaging in oral sexual conduct with two children under the age of 13 between October 2020 and June 2021.
Morales is scheduled to be sentenced by Judge Matthew C. Hayden on September 10. Under New York law, predatory sexual assault against a child carries a maximum sentence of 25 years to life in state prison.
The case is being prosecuted by Schuyler County District Attorney Jeremy Hourihan.
