BREAKING: Juvenile Stabbed Near Auburn Wegmans on Friday

Auburn Police are investigating a stabbing involving several juveniles that happened Friday morning near Wegmans.

According to police, officers responded at approximately 7:30 a.m. to Loop Road in front of the grocery store following a report of a stabbing.  When they arrived, officers found a juvenile male suffering from an apparent stab wound to the chest.

Police were then directed to a residence at 52 Osborne Street, where three juvenile males were detained in connection with the incident. Their identities are not being released because of their ages.

The injured juvenile was taken to a hospital for treatment. There has been no update on his condition. The other juveniles involved were later released to their parents or guardians.

As of Friday, no arrests had been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
