The New York State Appellate Division, Fourth Department, has upheld the convictions of two Cayuga County men in separate domestic violence-related cases, according to Cayuga County District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci.

The appellate court affirmed the conviction of Tyrone Davis Jr., who was found guilty by a Cayuga County jury on Jan. 25, 2024, of aggravated family offense, first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment.

Prosecutors said the offenses occurred in the City of Auburn on April 16, 2023. Davis was sentenced on April 30, 2024, to a total prison term of two to four years.

The court also upheld the convictions of Raymond Decker, who was found guilty by a Cayuga County jury of six counts of aggravated family offense and one count of first-degree criminal contempt in connection with offenses committed in 2022.
