NAPLES, Fla. | Mary McLaughlin, 78, of Naples, Fla., passed away on March 11, 2013. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy DiBari, of Auburn, N.Y.; brother, Chester DiBari, of Rome, N.Y. and grandson, Michael Manzari, of Wilmington, N.C. She is survived by her sister, Lucy Battaglia, of Auburn; children, Kathleen McLaughlin, of Wilmington, N.C., Renee Whitaker, of Hoboken, N.J., James McLaughlin, of Naples, Fla., and Richard (Joelle) McLaughlin, of Auburn; grandchildren, Nicholas, Jenna, and Emily; three nephews and two nieces. While living in Naples, Mary was a parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle and volunteered at the Rose Garden Charity Thrift Shop. In Auburn, she was employed by St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church. A beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend, Mary loved life, laughter, and most of all her family. She will be dearly missed. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at St. Mary's Church, for Mary's Mass of Christian burial. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
